Job Description

Crafts Inc. is currently seeking an organized, detail-oriented, motivated Office/Accounting Manager to join our team and be a part of the Crafts Family.

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assign And Monitor Clerical, Administrative And Secretarial Responsibilities, AP/AR, HR, Inventory Control Among An Experienced Team of Four

  • Manage, Coach, Mentor, and Evaluate Team Members

  • Establish, Implement, And Monitor Procedures/Policies

  • Support The Owners And Project Managers With Daily Operations And Office Duties

  • Participating Actively In The Planning And Execution Of Company Events

  • Project Contract Review, Project Set Up, And Insurance Certificate Procurement/Management

  • Prepare Monthly Financial Reports

  • General Ledger Entries and Management

  • Maintain Depreciation Schedules

  • Assist Crafts Inc.’s Outside Accounting Firm With Annual Review and Preparation Of Year-End Financial Documents

  • Work Closely With Project Management Team To Ensure Timely And Accurate Client Billing

  • Monitoring And Recording Cash Activity, Bank Balances, and Debt Management

  • Sales and Use Tax Reporting, In Multiple States

  • Maintain Various State Licensing and Annual Reports

  • Special Projects, I.E. Setting Up Vendor Accounts, Insurance Audits and Coordination, Work Comp, General Liability Etc.

  • Provide Back Up Support To Other Accounting Jobs, I.E. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Payroll

Education, Experience, and Competencies

  • College Degree In Business – Accounting Field (Preferred)

  • Associates Or Technical Degree In Accounting (Required)

  • Proven Office Management Experience, 3 Years Minimum

  • Knowledge Of Accounting, Data, And Administrative Management Practices And Procedures

  • Experience Working With Sage 300 Software (Formerly Timberline), Word, Excel, Etc.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem Solving Skills

  • Excellent Time Management Skills, Ability To Multi-Task, And Prioritize Work

  • Construction Office Experience Preferred, But Not Required
